My name is Piers Coombs and I have been a fully qualified, Driving Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) since 2000.
At Beacon, my aim is to make each lesson as educational and enjoyable as possible. I will pick you up from your home, your college, your workplace or wherever is convenient and can provide a range of courses to best suit your availability and requirements. Lessons can be for 1 hour or longer if wanted.
No two pupils are the same and I don't believe anyone should be required to have a minimum number of lessons. I will, however, teach you not just to pass your test but also to drive safely on our increasingly busy roads.
I am patient and experienced, and am available 7am and 7pm weekdays and also on Saturdays. I offer a 5 lesson discounted rate to first time drivers and for block bookings. Ring, text or email for current prices.
I teach in a 1.6l diesel Citroen DS3, voted by Top Gear as its car of the year. It is practical, air conditioned, has excellent all round visibility and is Ncap 5* rated for your comfort and safety.
